2022 AGWA Apprentice Recruitment Drive

I cant believe we are nearly in December - with Christmas and the festive season only a few weeks away. 2021 has certainly been a year to remember - but time now to shift our focus to 2022 and the years ahead.
In response to member feedback, AGWA have again partnered with MEGT to help source apprentices for those of you that are wanting to recruit new staff in 2022. In 2021, we helped place more than 60 apprentices Australia-wide and we hope to improve on these numbers next year.
The process will be the same as last year - AGWA will advertise through careers advisors, collate the applicants and send through resumes to those members with job vacancies.
To do this, we need to know a few things from you.
Are you wanting to employ a new apprentice in 2022?
If you answered YES to this question, please email the AGWA training team following information:
- Business name and location
- Contact person for resumes to be sent to
- Email address and phone number of contact person
- Number of apprentices needed
- Specific skills needed/preferred
MEGT will be able to help you with the employee incentives and sign up of the apprentice once you have found a suitable candidate. They can also help with the sign up process if you already have a candidate ready to sign up for an apprenticeship.
